Summer school is a great learning experience and I regret not taking it before in my high school career. It is the best way to prepare for the next year by flourishing the zeal for learning. I believe Summer school should be like a fun way to learn and from my experience this year, I can say that Summer school is indeed a fun learning experience - not boring and humiliating as mentioned by stereotypes.
Not only that but also that summer school also reduces your workload for the next year and allows you to focus more on the rest of the courses. This was my first time at summer school and it seems pretty fun and great to learn how to learn something quickly. It also gives the ability to adapt to things really quickly which is essential at work in future. Personally, I am a slow learner and in the beginning, I had trouble working fast and doing blogs for the reason that I had never done it before. However, once I tried to do the work, it felt easy to follow and I could see a transition with myself - from not knowing how to properly analysing a poem to analysing it and understanding the deeper meaning that the author is trying to show to readers. Moreover, Blogs have really been my medium to share what I think and feel about different topics. For example, I shared my thoughts like Everyone should be Vegetarian to end the suffering of poor animals. Not only it allows me to share my ideas but reflect as to what kind of person am I. This Summer school has not only taught me key elements of the English language like poetry, and Shakespearean play but also encouraged me to be self-aware and develop the ability to share ideas and thoughts on a topic. Thanks to my Summer School Teacher, Mr. Santin, It was a great time learning English from you.
Life is the sum of happy and sad moments and the way we look it at matters the most. Therefore, I prefer to look at some of my happy awesome moments that make life seem full of joy. Below is a list of my happiness moments.
1. Got my own laptop
Being a teenager, I always dreamt of having my personal computer to have privacy and just because everyone else had their own personal computer. When I got my own laptop, I sort of felt fitted into the group. This made me feel like others and all my feelings of isolation were isolated from me. In addition to that, Consumerism gave me the happiness because we humans get happy when we get something new in our life. Therefore, getting my own laptop was a new experience as it was the first thing that was only for me. Twins don't get their own things until they grow elder into teenagers - till then they have to share everything. This is why Getting my own laptop was one of the best moments in my life.
2. Got a History Award
Getting recognized for your efforts and hard work is an extraordinary experience and not only that but it gives us the encouragement to work even harder and achieve higher goals in life. I also had such experience in high school when I got the history award and got recognized onto the stage in front of many people. This was a proud moment for me as it was a sign of my dedication and interest in what I was doing. Not only this moment gave me inspiration but also some respect in front of my friends. And looking superior to friends feels great. The moment was really dear to me as it had a lot in it - respect, recognition, inspiration and joy.
3. First Day of Summer Break
The first day of relaxation, after working hard all year and that last week of exams where there is so much pressure, it is like heaven as the previous day was really hard to pass due to the tense situations because of the exam. In addition, as the first day of summer break arrives, I feel like a free bird - as there is no burden and I live my life to the fullest without any of the education concerns acting as a barrier. Summer Break marks the time to live your own life with the things that you like. Not only it gives us great joy and happiness but its also a good time to enhance learning about future interests. The first day seems like a blessing after months of torture and is the greatest time ever experienced.
4. Graduation Day from Elementary School
Graduating is a great experience of fun and learning as we head up to next level taking all the good memories and teachings from teachers. Moreover, it is an opportunity to see all our friends and teachers and share some great memories created during the two years of Grade 7 and 8. In addition, We also took pictures with our friends and family. The moment was of proud as we successfully accomplished elementary school; this gave a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction as we had achieved something in life and acted as an inspiration to work hard and never give up in life. This is why I remember it as one of my best moments so far.
5. When my Grandparents visited me
This moment is much more recent as my grandparents just visited me. Elders are the base of any family and the bond between grandparents and their grandsons is a great and strong one. I love my grandparents and the way they interact with me is like my friends and due to their presence with us, I never felt isolated and a sense of strong support always surrounded me when I needed it the most. Not only they understand me well enough but also played with me which makes it fun. In addition to that, I also had intellectual conversations with them about different topics like current affairs and climate change. They inspired me a lot and also made my last summer a fun time through their experiences and stories. By far, this was my greatest series of happy moments and there are tons of them.

Life is like a classroom. We keep learning lessons and apply them into our life. One of the lessons I have learned so far is to avoid doing some mistakes. Learning from our mistakes is excellence and the ability to make a change in our lives. Below I will unleash five things I will not repeat to make my life better and much more peaceful.
1. Never leave any assignment until end
Procrastination is common amongst teenagers. It is one of the fastest ways of completing an assignment. However, it adds a lot of stress onto students as they have to work late into night - sometimes till early morning. Teenagers are in the state of constant development and as sleep is an important factor in deciding how much growth occurs within students. Therefore, if teenagers don't get enough sleep - they will not grow as fast as compared to their friends who are getting enough sleep. So How much sleep is enough for us? Anything more than 8 hours of sleep is good for health and growth of the body. However, I do not get enough sleep when I have work pending. Therefore, I decide on completing my assignments well before the deadline and that is the reason why I am doing my blog well before to avoid PROCRASTINATION!
2. Never play League of Legends
To my readers who are not familiar with gaming so much, League of Legends is a high - end combat PC game and trust me it is really addicting. I made a mistake of starting the game just before my exams and have to pay its price as I could not give my best and thus did not get the best possible results. League of Legends has a rule that you cannot quit in midst of a game and each game is about 40 to 50 minutes. Therefore, I have to really focus hard on the game and could not do anything else than just staring at my computer screen. I would suggest everyone to stay away from it as it just takes you in and your studies suffer the loss. Games are necessary but not like this as this is for gamers who are devoted to gaming for the rest of their life. If you are not a gamer like me, don' t play the game as you will lose your social as well as academic life.
Still can't Quit League of Legends, Watch this Video Below for more reasons!
3. Never Ever going to play Cricket when Sun is right above us
I love playing cricket. However, it is very hot and the sun's intensity is much more than you can feel. Thus, I felt the consequences - just by playing for a few days, my skin got burned and turned so dark to a point that everyone that I met used to mention it. Therefore, I would suggest it that you don't play outside in the summer as it not only results into embarrassment but also inferiority complex in society.
4. Never Take Computer Engineering Again in High School
Computer Engineering was the only class where we did not learn anything relevant to the name of the course last year. We had only two big assignments and some small presentations on technology. Aside from that, during the big projects, we had to ensure that we knew how to work with work instead of interface cables. It was sort of more to the architecture aspect of a project rather than the technical aspects. In addition to that, we never learned as a class on programming skills that we really needed during the project. This was the drawback and led to poor results amongst students in our class. Not only that but one day the work was so much that the teacher stayed until 7 pm along with the whole class and I am not joking. The course being a M (Mixed) course was much more harder than the University - level course.
5. Never Go out on a long bike ride alone
Bike Riding is a good exercise but it gets tiring after some time if you are alone. However, if you are along with a bunch of friends, time passes by easily. Moreover, it gets boring and hard to even ride bike as you just feel isolated. Isolation makes you feel bad and your journey is spoiled as you are not enjoying what you are doing. And doing something that does not give happiness is worthless.
That is it - These are some of the mistakes I wish not to repeat
Houses are our friends. They provide shelter, protect from heat and rain, and give us space and privacy. However, houses are not just limited to that. Houses are made more fun to live in by putting some source of entertainment like Television, Gaming Consoles etc. We humans occupy a lot things in our house. Normal people like you and me just have a kitchen, a bathroom, two or three bedrooms, a living room and a dining room and that is it for us. However, when we spotlight on these 5 amazing houses in a bit, you will feel jealous and not only that but you will wish about them in your dreams as they are the ideal examples of luxury that humans can possibly possess.
So are you ready for it
5. Hearst Mansion, Beverly Hill – The Godfather Mansion ($165 Million)
The former home of US newspaper tycoon William Randolph Hearst has 29 bedrooms, three swimming pools, tennis courts, its own cinema and a nightclub. Mr. Hearst bought the H-shaped mansion in 1947 for about $120,000. In 2007, the estate's current owner, who bought it in 1976, put the home on the market for US$165 million. The neighbours of this house include some big celebrities including Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes and David and Victoria Beckham.
Maria Carey's palace was built by a Texan billionaire on 5 acres; it is 41,000 square feet of pure diva luxury. The mansion has rolling lawns, ornamental gardens and mature trees, a 3,000-square-foot manager's house, staff quarters for 10 people, a spa and pool with a pavilion, a championship tennis court, and a lavish garden folly.
3. Versailles, Florida - The largest family home ever built in the US ($75 Million)
This 30 bedroom mansion boasts its own bowling alley, roller skating rink and Olympic sized swimming pool to make it the largest family home ever built in the US. Time share mogul David Siegel and his former beauty queen wife Jacqueline began building the huge estate three years ago.
The hand-built windows for the house cost more than £2m and other luxuries include a ballroom and a children's theatre. There is a garage with enough space for 20 cars, three swimming pools, a large boat house, formal gardens, and a one-story gatehouse with an apartment. There is also a baseball field, two tennis courts, a 60 foot by 120 foot Grand Hall with a 30-foot stained glass dome, two grand staircases, a 37 foot by 30 foot kitchen, 10 satellite kitchens, a two-story wine cellar and a rock grotto with three separate spas behind an 80-foot waterfall. All 23 full bathrooms have full-sized Jacuzzis, 160 tripled paned windows and Brazilian mahogany French-style doors that alone cost 2 million pounds.
The property was called Versailles as the entrance was modelled after the Palace of Versailles in France.
2. Updown Court, England ($150 million)
Updown Court is situated only 25 miles from London, and through a pair of large sophisticated iron gates, one can see a palatial construction of immense scale and beauty. The property, however, is best known for its price tag: more than 85 million British pounds (+$150 million U$, with 103 rooms, five swimming pools and 24-carat-gold leafing on the study's mosaic floor. There's a squash court, bowling alley, tennis court, 50-seat screening room, heated marble driveway and helipad. Eight limousines will fit in the underground garage. Then there are the neighbors, who include the queen (at Windsor Castle) and Elton John. So you feel like you are royal by living near royals.
And The Best One is....
1. Antilia, Mumbai - ($2 Billion)
Mukesh Ambani, one of the richest man in the world and head of the Mumbai based petrochemical giant Reliance Industries is estimated to be worth somewhere in the region of $25 billion. Every story in the Antilla's skyscraper home will be built to a different specification. The vast variation of materials to be used in its build has tremendously added to its overall cost. The meticulous planning that has gone into this architectural design is astounding and once the 27 -story tower is built it will certainly become a spectacular site for all eyes. Hirsch Bedner Associates are the designers behind this project. The house also has a Helipad on the roof.
These are what I think the most expensive luxurious houses on our planet. When I look at such amazing things, it gives me a passion to work hard to achieve them and it is like a goal to achieve such luxury in life and I think it should be for everyone as it acts as a driving force as we keep enriching the earth and ourselves with our splendid work. Even you can achieve this one day and that day is near.

What is Wrong with our World? Money, Power, Lust, or Jealousy? The list is longer than just these four words as we humans have made our lives harder to live and to have fun from Here is what I think is wrong with our world and it is in our hands to fix them to have future generations to thank us rather than hate us. 1. Bad Politics The Solution to this problem will bring a solution to the other four problems mentioned below. Politics is the practice and theory of influencing people. Politicians can be great or really bad. Power is abused by most politicians. Our lives are in our hands and we civilians always choose the person who sends most people on campaigns and reaches out to most people talking about his ideas on improving a country. Note the word talking as empty vessels make most noise. Therefore, the solution is in our hands as we elect politicians. We should be careful in choosing our representatives as they will decide how you live for the next term ( 4 or 5 years ). If we choose the right people, then we can improve the political system and encourage politicians who are actually good. To all voters, vote with caution as your future is in your hands.
2. Corruption Corruption is like a termite eating up ordinary people. However, corruption is practised most by rich people who think they can buy anything with money. Due to this, they bribe anyone with huge amounts but they are insensitive towards other ordinary people who cannot possibly pay that big of an amount towards corruption. Therefore, rich people are the base of corruption which is the cause of pain and suffering for the poor. If rich individuals stop giving away money to government officials and institutions, the whole system will be purified and there will be no discrimination due to money; this will ensure that all that glitters will be gold.
3. Terrorism Terrorism is shocking. It's not only about killing them but what makes them rise. There is a reason behind terrorism - to aware people of a group's ideas and beliefs. If we change the way they think, we can turn them into good people. For example, if United States under the governance of Bush did not attack Iraq for the benefit of some oil companies owned by his relatives, hundreds of innocent in Iraq would have been alive and ISIS would not have been created. Terrorists' actions are indeed dreadful and of severe punishment but they can be changed and many more innocent can be saved by putting an end to the bloodshed of mankind. All countries should work with UN and come to an agreement with terrorists that there will be no terrorism and violence on humans for promotion of ideas and beliefs.
4. Poverty Big Corporations are highly affecting the way ordinary people live their life due to the cost of things as well as the employment that they provide. If the Big Corporations cut a small portion of their profit or donate it - they can actually make a difference. For example, if it is a big company like Apple with a net income of $182 billion, their small contributions can really decrease malnutrition, illiteracy and spread of diseases. Only if they wished to do so, instead they will use money on advertising so that you get attracted and buy the Iphone 6 while someone in other part of the world is struggling for a meal. Think about it because you make a difference. Stop promoting child labour and those products that make the profits high yet others homeless. Boycott child labour and there will be equal distribution of money around the world making sure everyone gets access atleast to resources essential for survival. Think twice before you buy anything.
5. High Inflation Have you wondered why you are paying more for things you are buying? Well if there is a higher demand for something than there is available, the price goes up. Otherwise, the price goes down. For example, if you eat half of your lunch and throw it in the garbage, you are doing injustice to someone on the other end of the globe working hard to get a day's meal and in that if the prices are too high for the person to buy because you bought that extra 5 ounces you did not need and just wasted in the garbage. Therefore, there is unequal distribution of resources and as we have everything over here, we are abusing and disrespecting it. From now, please buy only that you will really require and avoid buying too much that you will likely not use. This will result into prices being low due to less demand and can be accessible by people in other parts. Having lot of money does not allow us to buy excessive goods that will do injustice to other humans who have an equal share onto the resources of our world.
We are the Problem and We are the Solution so decision lies within us. What do you want to be - A Problem or A Solution ?

Happiness is an art. You can feel happy even if you are not. Happiness or Sadness decide how long a human can live. Therefore, it is essential to be happy to live your life to the fullest. I have been using the things below to make myself happy and hope it will help you in reviving smile on your face.
1. Practice Yoga on a Daily Basis Performing Yoga allows energy inside your system refreshing your brain, respiratory system and your nervous system and giving you a positive attitude towards work, and relationships with others around you. Yoga also purifies our system by getting rid of the waste through breathing.
2. Helping Parents and Others Helping Parents and other people in need may look boring but once you give it a try, I can bet you will love it as it is a fun experience and one that will you peace of mind with the satisfaction of making someone happy. 3. Playing Games
4. Playing Sports Playing sports is important as our body needs physical activity to stay fit and healthy. In addition, involvement in sports can boost your concentration as well as communication skills. Nevertheless, it will for sure give you a sense of happiness as you are diverting your focus away from disappointments while you are out with people playing for a purpose - to win.
5. Sleep Well Sleep is an important factor in determining someone's mood. Humans sleep in cycles of two hours and atleast need 8 hours minimum. Sufficient sleep ensures your brain and body development and are charged up for the day. This will make you feel energetic and happy as your body is also happy because it got enough rest. Make sure to get more than 8 hours of sleep. 6. Spend time with family and friends Family and friends are great for support and encouragement. They tend to help us see the positive side of the story making us a happier individual providing a sense of happiness. For example, My friends console me about not getting the mark I wanted in a particular course and always offer help when I need it to ensure that I can succeed. 7. Stay away from Television This point will shock you but this is the truth! Most Television shows are based on the beauty of celebrities and that creates a feeling of lowered self - respect within you because you constantly make comparisons between the artificially beautiful celebrities to yourself. This is not fair as they have been made prettier through the use of cosmetics. 8. Think of great memories 9. Think what you have You have eyes to read this. You have a brain to process this information and understand it. You have hands to comment on this if you like. You have legs if you wish to go out for a walk. You have mouth to put forth your ideas. You have ears to listen to others. If you think you are unlucky just because you failed a test - quit whining - you are the luckiest person on world because you have all that is needed to appreciate the beauty of the nature.
Be happy with what you have because you have a lot given to you. 10. Expect Nothing from life 11. Walk with barefoot on the grass
12. Listen to music
13. Bike Riding
14. Reading 15. Watching Super Car Videos
16. Eating Food 17. Owning a Pet (Parrot) Parrots are the only creature other than humans that have the ability to talk like us. They do this using the muscles in their throat. Talking with parrots make us feel happier and avoid feelings of isolation as a partner is present that can talk.
Watch this video and I am sure you will feel happy and amazed.
Over the years there has been an exponential change in technology where the transportation, healthcare and education industries have advanced, resulting in a positive impact on our lives.
OUTLINE
Technology’s impact on Transportation
Safe
Safety concerns have increased and ultimately have evolved over the years.
Companies such as BMW have made smart cars, which allows them to brake automatically once you take your feet off the accelerator.
Efficient
A bus in the UK runs only on cow dung (compressed bio methane). Technology allowed us to experiment with the natural resources in the world.
Mostly all transports now have built-in GPS that gives you the fastest route possible with various filters (avoid toll routes, etc..)
Instead of waiting for long hours in trains, trains can now go at 300+mph. It’s currently one of the fastest resources to get to a place.
Cheap
Owning a car these days is much cheaper. For example, a service named “zipcar’’ allows customers to borrow a car for a day for just $7/month (gas and insurance included).
Less Pollutant
Kinetic energy powered transports
The new system will use the technology to store kinetic energy when the trains brake and use it to power their acceleration as they depart.
Nuclear powered transports
Fact - The fuel cannot explode. Nuclear fuel has been used for over 40 years resulting in no injuries, fatalities or environmental damage.
Hydrogen Fuel Transports
By combining hydrogen and oxygen, it powers the motor to run. Converting hydrogen gas into electricity produces only water and heat, meaning fuel cell vehicles don’t pollution when they’re driven. Hydrogen fuel also cuts down 30% emission compared to the gasoline powered motors.
Biodiesel Transports
Biodiesel is a form of diesel fuel manufactured from vegetable oils, animal fats, or recycled restaurant greases. It is safe, biodegradable, and produces less air pollutants than petroleum-based diesel. Reduces Carbon Dioxide emission by 15%.
Technology’s impact on Healthcare
Easier to diagnose diseases and other abnormalities of the body
Finding and keeping up-to-date with new diseases spreading
Laser technology could possibly detect and cure brain diseases in near future - Research is in on-going process
CT (Computed Tomography) is a scan designed to diagnose any diseases or health problems - even cancer.
MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) is a scan is used to detect any structural abnormalities in the body from injuries or other problems
Before, it used to be like lot of people died due to a unknown disease and then came the precautions and cure to the disease.
Easy access to medical aid by patients
Drones are being enforced in Europe to serve emergency patients better
The Drones travel in straight lines and get to the help location within 12 kilometres of range in 1 minute with a medical aid kit operable by any average person under expert consultation.
The Drone increases survival of cardiac patients from 8% to 80 %
The Drone uses GPS technology to track the patient’s location
Predicted to improve serving and saving more lives that could not be possible prior due to the delay of time taken for the ambulance to arrive to the patient.
Improved treatments to Diseases or Health Problems
More research on finding ways to incurable diseases like HIV, AIDS, Asthma
Better machines built through technology to better adapt to diseases or other health problems
Pacemaker - uses electrical pulses to make heart beat at a normal rate
Electronic Aspirin - Blocks signals of pain causing neurotransmitters
Laser - Used to remove kidney stones
Easy access to Electronic medical record by doctors to better treat patients
Search Engines like Google accurately medical trends by analysing the queries for diseases like flu to look for flu breakouts
Google Flu is an example that looks for search entries flu to determine medical trends in flu breakout - the trends are high in the flu season
Individual records of patients help doctors know more about their health and diseases
Especially for children, databases can track vaccines pending to children to ensure they are protected from potential viruses or diseases
Technology’s impact on Education
Technology made educational resources more abundant.
It gave us the ability to access the Internet at the touch of our fingertips through portable devices.
Some popular portable devices include: smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.
With the use of technological devices students can access their class material at home through the internet.
Students can get a hold of eBooks, course textbook, class notes, etc.
Technology is used to enhance students’ education.
Technological devices such as printers, smartphones, desktops, laptops, etc.. are used to aid students for their education.
DeVry University claims that 91% of college faculty are incorporating social media in their teaching and 80% of professors have at least one social media account.
Technology allows for more efficient research
For example we can use a search engine like google to quickly suggest web pages that are of relevance to what you searched for.
We can save time in our research by browsing through free online encyclopedias rather than going through books.
